These are part of the Brigade demo' game force seen at Bifrost this year. The models are painted in a camouflage scheme taken from one used by the French in early WW2 on Char B tanks. Markings are also influenced by French vehicles of that period. Painted by Tony.

Two Montsabert class tanks - standard (left) and close support variants.

The 'Verdun', a Montsabert class tank.

Rear shot of the 'Verdun' showing registration plate and national flag.

Front shot showing glacis plate markings - smaller registration plate, national roundel, name and a unit marking. This is a yellow Cross of Lorraine on a blue field, used (I believe) by the Free French in the latter part of WW2.

Flank view of the 'Arras', a close support variant Montsabert. This shows the small roundel and section marking. Some French tank units (particularly ones equipped with Hotchkiss or Renault tanks) used coloured playing card markings to denote sections.
