My Celtos armies

Postby celtoslegion » Sat Aug 19, 2006 6:37 pm

Hi everyone,

just found the time to play around with my camera, so I took some pics of my Fir Bolg, Gael and Sidhe armies.

Follow this link to get to the pics: http://www.celtoslegion.de/berichte/armies/index.htm

These are pretty much basic forces, but I intend to expand the armies.

My next project is the King of the wild and his pack of dogs.

Thanks for all your comments guys!

@Brigadier Tony: Which unit or model do you want to have more pics of?

@Pabook: It's already linked on Celtoslegion: http://www.celtoslegion.de/?seite=berichte
Allthough I haven't made it a special 'news item' on the front page.

Really nice work on those Knut

All three forces look good

I especially like the conversions for the Gael cavalry 8)

That blue background works really well (not sure if it was intended or not). It would be even better without the frames in the background

@Ben: Thanks - the background is the wall of my balcony, it wasn't intended as a special background, but it really looks good, so maybe I'll use it for further (smaller) pics.

The cavalry conversions are quite simple - it's usually an infantry model, with the legs cut off and glued to the rider's legs. All you have to add is a little greenstuff here and there.

I'm still looking for a way to have a few more riders with hunting spears though.
