Tattoos on Sidhe

Postby FILAMENT » Fri Mar 04, 2011 9:11 pm

I see them mostly painted fairskinned, but the book has them covered in tattoos. Does anyone paint their Sidhe with all the tribal tattoos?

I would, if my painting skills were up to it.
I have a sheet of tatoo decals somewhere in my bits box, but I haven't tried them on yet.

So far I'm imaging I'm going to be able to pull off black tribal, is there any story that defines the color of the tattoos? Like I know it's blue for Gaels and Vanir tend to smurf-ify themselves.

I don't put tats on my sidhe. Not that I can't( or that I can.), but I think tats kind of make them seem more human. But I would still like to see pics. Hey, a great paint job is a great paint job!

From memory I think Andy Wedomre did tats on his display model Sidhe Sorceror types. They were "tribal" style for the most part and fairly muted. They looked good (but then Andy did them so they would do ;) )

I've done a fairly bright woad blue type tats and/or war paint on a few of my gaels but so far have stayed away from diong so on my sidhe (mind you, the few of them I have painted are purple...)

So far no luck. I tried, but my painting skills are not quite there yet. At least I have something to work on.
