Every year, the society runs a Blood Bowl tournament. Blood Bowl is Games Workshop's rules for Fantasy Football, eg Gridiron (American Football) played between various teams of fantasy characters such as Elves, Dwarves, Skaven, Orcs - oh, and Humans. This has been going on since 1988 and we're still not tired of it ! Unashamedly refusing to move with the times, we're still using the same 16-year-old set of rules and have failed to keep up with Games Workshop's continual updates and re-releases.  Tournament wins have been shared out evenly, with eleven different winners in the sixteen years so far although Tony has been very dominant in recent years. Up to 1999 we competed for the Minotaur Trophy, but with the new millenium a new trophy needs to be struck (mainly because the old one has run out of room for winner's names !).
