In the Aeronef over the Aegean Scenario pack it suggests about converting Movement into Inches. So Gunnery would end up with a Range of 12 Inches instead of 30 cm.

Isn't that a huge increase in speed and a big drop in shooting.

If my Steadfast used to be capable of 18cm Move and its now 18" that's 45cm so i've lost 33% in range.

Would it mean that Torpedo's would have the following ranges.

4" Upto 1895.
6" Upto 1905.
12" thereafter.

Okay we tried this last night and reduced all speeds in half rounding up. We reduce acceleration/deceleration by half and rounded that up as well. We kept the turns the same as currently.

Have to say it worked very well indeed as it got us into combat a lot quicker but we didn't have the issue that smaller ships could end up wizzing off the board only to be lost to the game.

I'll be posting a battle report later.

If we would of done a straight CM = Inches can you imagine how much fun trying to get those zippy little patrol Nef's under wraps would of been..Hmm did i really set my movement at 18" and i can only turn 3 time's..Flip Very Happy
