A small start of an immense project.
An AmRep New Jersey battlecruiser force ambushed by Yenpalo Phlam frigates.
Dang! I love these models!

Thanks.
And then the rest...
AmRep reinforced with that humongous Oriskany class Attack Carrier:
I have a problem (two actually) here, I intend to continue the colour scheme of the ground forces out in space and the spaceships. Not quite sure what the AmRep will think of blue "camouflage"...
Yanpalo, not sure what to do with these at all.
They are purple and yellow and follow a doctrine that is quite intriguing, take out the crew and take over the ship. But I'm not sure...
Anyone up for a trade perhaps?
Ah! The CDSU! They are green and they are mean!
Some more Zhengsheng and Wusheng fighters thou. And probably something assaulty later on. Gotto read up on Starmada first.
And then my real favourites. Had to go my banker when these finally showed up!
"Come one, come all!"
And then a friends "alien" spaceships.
We're still working on classifications. |

Those blue dots make hexes. But then I put a pencil to them to, and drew the lines.
And you don't have to use hexes in Starmada. You can use the base itself for 60° turns etc. |

"(For example if I want to move my ship 3 hehes foward)"
use a one laugh ruler and measure from the center of the base
to the destination. I'm sorry but I had to lol at that.
Anywho I don't play the game so I can not be to much help, sorry.

Indeed.
And by resting the ruler against the base-side you keep close to the hexes too.
Or make rectangular "rulers" for each distance, minus one hex-base, to lay between present base position and the next one. |

Nice work, Erik!
I'd give those Yenpalo a nice wash of dark purple to bring out the terraced effect. And are those Epic Tau I see?? _________________ Leo: (July 23—Aug. 22): The wheelchair and the indignity will be bad enough, but the worst part is going to be explaining to your wife exactly what you said to the genie to make him take off your legs like that. |

Not yet it isn't Andreas...
But it will be! Especially as I now have a Twilight Imperium 2nd Ed on it's way and the TSS (The Sovereign Stars) already in my hand.
Just waiting for Daniel (MJXII) to get his butt of to the post-office and get me my new Starmada rules.
Yes, it's Tau all right. But Aeronautica, not Epic.
Not sure waht to do with them blasted Yenpalo... |
