Alright...not looking to be attacked, but I came across this site while looking for Space 1889 miniatures. So I find the Aeronef stuff, which is what I was looking for, and say to myself, "Hey, I wonder what the rules or like", so I buy the PDF rules. Then I say, these are cool, easy to understand (meaning easy to pick up, then easy to teach other people...) and looks like a big old dicefest, which is fun stuff. So I order 2 fleet packs, one British and one French. It takes a little bit (as one would expect) for them to cross the pond and I open the package and immediately think, "Wow, these models are great!". Cool enough that my OCD kicks in and I start looking at more fleets. Now, someplace between the UK and my home, there's another package with a Japanese Carrier Fleet and a US Fleet (I saw the photo of the Japanese Carrier and had to have one) with my address on it....
Now, after talking to a friend about Dirtside II, I start looking a miniature ground vehicles. Next thing you know, I'm looking at the Land Ironclads and thinking, hey, those look really cool....now I'm contemplating another purchase...
Geez...you guys suck! But I love the games and the mini's rock. Now, I need to paint my ships up and start converting my buddies into Aeronef players.... |

| New Japanese battleship and heavy cruiser models are due in the next month. Japanese LI will be a little longer, there are three other countries (French, Austrians and Italians) ahead of them in the LI queue. |

I think I've made 4 more purchases since the second one noted by Tony above....
I bought the LI starter set with the Martians, then bought a bunch of Generic Aeronef merchant ships, then bought the AmRep vs. CDSU Future Wars set. Now, with the sale going on, I felt that I needed to add some more LI - this time German - to my collection.
They do indeed suck, and continue to do so! |
