Today&#8217;s offering is the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.starforts.com\/sananton.html\">Castillo de San Ant\u00f3n<\/a>, a rather uniquely shaped starfort built in the late C.16th to defend the Bay of Coru\u00f1a in northern Spain (and not to be confused with our existing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brigademodels.co.uk\/SmallScaleScenery\/Spanish%20Forts%20and%20Castles\/SSS-8081.html\">Castell de San Antonio<\/a>). In it&#8217;s uncompleted state it helped to dissuade Sir Francis Drake&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/English_Armada\">Counter Armada<\/a> in 1589.
