One of our more popular releases at Salute was the 15mm Agricultural Colony buildings range. We’ve already had the odd enquiry asking when they’ll be on the website, and today is the day.<\/p>\n

The buildings are scaled up versions of our 6mm set<\/a>, which have been selling very well since release. The designs are based on the idea of a series of colony buildings made from prefabricated parts, which can be arranged to suit whatever type of building the colony needs (the original 6mm release post<\/a> goes into more detail on this).<\/p>\n

What’s different about the 15mm versions is that we’ve stripped off all the external parts – doors, windows, aircon units, roof vents – and left the buildings as a bare shell. The external details can then be fitted in whatever positions you like to make the buildings incredibly flexible. You can also buy packs of extra detail pieces so you can customise them to your heart’s content. We’ve made multiple different types of doors and other parts to even further vary the look between buildings.<\/p>\n

Here’s an example of the parts in a single building – for the homesteads you get the basic building shell plus a door, two windows, roof vent, aircon unit and extension. The parts are supplied randomly – there are three types of door and aircon, four types of roof vent and two different extensions. Even the windows are left and right handed. All of the parts are available separately so you can buy extra detail parts and really go to town.<\/p>\n
