The base (shown here modelled by a German <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brigademodels.co.uk\/Spaceships\/German\/SFS-302.html\">Dortmund class battlecruiser<\/a> Scharnhorst) is a solid metal item, 28mm across flats so larger than our normal <a href=\"http:\/\/www.brigademodels.co.uk\/Accessories\/Items\/ACC-001.html\">flying stands<\/a>, and is supplied with the same type of plastic post.
