So, next on the Salute workbench is a new range of spaceships. The latest force to get a long-overdue spacefaring (and fighting) capability are the Soviets. The first batch consists of a battleship, two cruisers, two escorts and fighters. Like the British models<\/a>, the larger ships will have separate heavy gun turrets. They’ve been designed around the idea of missile armament, so most ships have VLS<\/a> hatches on the upper surface, with smaller turrets dotted around.<\/p>\n
