You may remember the Polyversal project<\/a> that ran on Kickstarter a while back, but unfortunately didn’t meet its funding targets. Well, the team at Collins Epic Wargames<\/a> have gone away, revisited their aims and requirements and yesterday relaunched the game with a new 30-day campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you weren’t aware of it, here’s a quick precis from the site:<\/p>\n

Polyversal is a universal tabletop miniatures game for two or more players designed by veteran gamer Ken Whitehurst and developed and published by Collins Epic Wargames (known for their award-winning Spearpoint 1943 line of card wargames). The system is intended for use with 6mm scale miniatures, but may be used with larger 10mm or 15mm miniatures if desired. <\/p><\/blockquote>\n

We’re involved again, with a number of our miniatures going into the boxed game. In addition, we’re creating a new model (well, rebooting an old one that I never finished) in the form of the M-65 Ridgway Light Combat Walker. It’s a small bipedal mech that I started designed several years ago but never finished, and everyone who pledges for the boxed game, with or without miniatures, will get a set of three Ridgways. The image below is of the old design – I’ll be updating it before release (I’ll probably start from scratch and completely rebuild it from the ground up). The model will initially only be available to Polyversal backers and will not go on general sale until around 12 months after the KS finishes.<\/p>\n
