Well my idea of getting someone to build the terrain has fallen through. So I am back to doing this project all by myself, this includes the ocean board, islands and features.

Anyway at least I finished my colonial class cruiser tonight. Working on the battleship tomorrow.

Will post a few more photos of the fleet. There will be a special addition to Colonial cruiser and battleship.

Now I have been thinking of the situation, scenario and the concept. I am going to change this battle to a British vs France only scenario.

I will post the new fleet list in a day of so, photos in the next couple of days as well.

Will keep you guys posted

Only 5 weeks three days to go.

Hey Guys,

Well only 5 weeks to go. The British Home Fleet is now finished. Well the only thing that is left is the Rigging on the:

Benbow
Ralphindi

As I had indicated before I was looking at changing the game to just a British vs French engagement. Time and budget is against me, so I am going to work with what I have. I will how ever add a few more Aeronefs to the British and take a couple out of the USA fleet.

I will also be adding a couple of French Aeronefs and if I can a couple more to the Turkish.

I need to look at one more Cruiser to British & French. Maybe a trio of Steadfasts or some torpedo Nefs.

As soon as the sun comes out again I will post a fleet shot of the British.

In the meantime will be starting on the French tonight.

Thanks for the compliments Guys, Well things are progressing well I have now completed 6 of the 12 Aeronefs for the French and will have another three done by nights end.

This will leave the destroyer, Lt cruiser and battlecruiser. Tony will be placing a special order in the next day or do. All I can say to those who are watching it will be an interesting game for Expo.

It is inspired by a fellow member of the forum.

Will look at posting some French photos once the sun is out again.

UPDATE

9 x French Aeronefs painted, working on the Renault and Lt Cruiser tonight.

O.k so painting is really humming along now. I have completed

British Fleet
French Fleet (battlecruiser will be done tomorrow)

So since starting the project I have completed 24 Aeronefs to date.

USA is next on the table, one typo though it's actually two light cruisers not the battleship and cruiser originally posted.

Hopefully I will have some photos of the French tomorrow.

Unfortunatelly I have blown the budget on the terrain , and I won't have the money to add what I was going to before expo.

So the existing fleet list will just have to do :D

Was going to paint up some merchants, will now add these at a later time.

Well the sun finally came out to play, well sort of. Apologies for the quality of the photos and the tree was blocking the clear light.

So without further ado, here are the French:

Well lets here it, good or bad :D

Now working on the first 8 US Aeronefs.

Oh and I went down the track of buying a 6ft x 4ft Hotz European Fields Mat. This will take a little pressure of getting the ocean done.

So now I just have to make some terrain for the mat, which should be here in about three weeks (shipping this week) - Great contact from Eric.

Just thought it would be worth mentioning, that I will as a backup still build some Islands and terrain boards as a backup, just incase the mat does not get here in time.

Although I do find the postal service from the otherside of the world to NZ a lot faster than what they state it takes.

I have started on the USA fleet, and have a Hunley Torpedo Nef done in the test scheme and like it so work will begin on them tonight.

Geez gad, its only 4 weeks to go. At least I have the last week off from work, so I can get in a minimum of 40 hours worth of work if needed. Who needs sleep..
