Hi

most of the background fluff had been done and we have started playtesting some changes.

The major part of the change will be providing each race with a 'flavour' and therefore a fighting style. This will mean that each race will fight differently, and playing against them will require different tactics.

One race will be more 'skirmish', one more regimented, one more 'horde' etc etc.

We have not comissioned any figures yet, although that will start right after Christmas as we more or less know what we want.

Finally a few tasteful titbits:

The Vanir will have wolf packs and 'boar' type calvary
The Sidhe structure will be based upon the elements, including elemental dragons
The Fomorians will become a massed horde of screaming orcs.... 8)
The Fir Bolg will have more regeneration, including a 'wickerman' character
The Gaels will eventually get more T&A :P

so as you can see it is all going on, and we will start issuing more info early in the new year

Celtos News

I was going to be sending a starter force of Vanir off to get painted and would like to know if the unit sizes are staying the same?
I know thay Mark Craggs had done the Vanir Standard Bearer and would like to know if it is at all possible if I could get a couple.I have the Musician,Champions to add and just need Standards.
Did you also get around to casting up the other Dragon for the Elves?

For some reason I haven't been getting updates on this topic ...

I was going to be sending a starter force of Vanir off to get painted and would like to know if the unit sizes are staying the same?

One thing we aren't mucking about with much is unit sizes, so I think you're safe to go with what's already published. That said, the Vanir are getting a makeover with new unit types since they are the least developed of the races.

I know thay Mark Craggs had done the Vanir Standard Bearer and would like to know if it is at all possible if I could get a couple

He's being a pain in that his horns won't cast reliably so we don't have a production mould for him yet :(

Did you also get around to casting up the other Dragon for the Elves?

The other dragon ? Presumably you mean the other Dragon's back end ? I think that if you ordered some Dragon Riders and specified the alternative back-end then we'd be able to sort them out for you
