For domestic/logistical reasons (burnt out car windscreen washer pump; broken chassis on mechanic’s van; loose exhaust tailpipe) we’re slightly behind with the post this week. Orders have been cast and packed but are stuck in the out tray. This should be sorted by the weekend (MoT has been passed; new exhaust going on tomorrow) and all outstanding orders will hopefully be on their way on Saturday morning. Some orders bound for the USA have been affected for other, bureaucratic reasons – we’ve had to hang onto those while we ponder how to deal with some new import regulations. We think we’ve got our head around that issue too so all US orders will be included in this. The plan is to completely clear the decks tomorrow (Friday 17th).

Next week will see the workshop closed for a few days for a short holiday combined with some prep for an upcoming family wedding; the weather gods seem to be smiling on us, it looks like being warm and sunny without the extreme heat of earlier in the summer. The upshot of this is that any orders that come in after we pack up tomorrow (probably around lunchtime) will have to wait until we return on Monday 27th, and will be dealt with in our usual first-in, first-out manner.
Look out for a new release tomorrow; and all being well, we’ll see if we can schedule one for next Friday as well. We should still be able to deal with any emails/queries that come in, although our response time might be a bit longer than usual.
